About Us

It all began with a dream…

We're excited to introduce ourselves and share why 418 Old Connecticut Path has been such a special home for our family over the past 20 years. In 2004, we had a dream of building our forever home—a place where we could raise our children and create lasting memories. After searching extensively, we found this magical lot with acres of conservation land in our backyard. It gave us the privacy and serenity we craved while keeping all the modern conveniences just minutes away.

We thoughtfully planned every detail of this house and designed it to create a home that would last for generations. From the high ceilings throughout, insulated foundation to the high-quality plumbing and lighting fixtures, we wanted this home to reflect durability and elegance. The privacy of each bedroom, the convenience of the second-floor laundry that simplifies daily routines, and the exciting potential for the basement and attic to transform into fully functional spaces—such as a home theater or additional family spaces—have always been highlights of this home. Every feature was chosen with care.

Evenings here have been magical. We've shared family dinners in the dining room, watching the sun set and its golden rays reflect off the pond and conservation land behind us. Living close to nature has been a joy, from sipping mint tea made with leaves from our garden to enjoying fresh asparagus we grew ourselves. Watching hummingbirds and bees visit the flowers we planted has been a simple but profound pleasure.

This house has been the perfect setting for raising our two children, who thrived in the exceptional Wayland Public Schools. Summers were spent swimming and paddleboarding at the nearby Wayland Town Beach and enjoying the Wayland Town Pool, both within walking or biking distance. The layout of the house made it easy to work remotely from our home offices while still being present for every milestone. 418 OCP has truly been more than just a house—it's been a way of life.

Now, with our children pursuing their dreams at Cornell University, we've decided it's time to downsize and begin the next chapter of our lives. We feel immense gratitude for this home, the town, and the community that have enriched our lives. Nothing would make us happier than seeing another family make 418 Old Connecticut Path their own and create their own cherished memories here.
